Sri Lanka, Aug. 31 -- Health and Media Minister Dr.Nalinda Jayatissa opened the new Post Office at Pokunuwita in Horana. The Postal Department has allocated Rs.600 million for new buildings in 2025 and under that financial allocations, the government has already commenced construction work on 17 buildings. Several more post offices are to be vested with people in September. Kalutara district MPs Dr. Nihal Abeysinghe, Oshani Umanga and Post Master General Ruwan Sathkumara were present.
