Sri Lanka, July 2 -- Marking a significant milestone in the proud 141-year history of Hameed Al Husseinie College, Colombo, the foundation stone for its new nine-storey Education, Sports and Innovation Complex was ceremonially laid on Sunday, June 28, on a newly acquired 102-perch plot adjoining the College premises. The ceremony was held under the patronage of philanthropist Al Haj Ilyas Abdul Kareem. Director of the Light for Life organisation and an old boy of the College, K.R. Akram, delivered the Welcome address.
