Sri Lanka, Aug. 17 -- A panel of experts has been appointed to conduct a preliminary investigation into the incident where a SL Navy Fast Attack Craft (FAC) met with an accident in the seas off Angulana on Saturday (15). Eleven 11 Naval personnel on board the vessel were rescued following the accident and admitted to hospital for treatment. All of the rescued personnel are reported to be in stable condition, Navy confirmed.
However, one Naval officer remains missing following the incident and search operations are continuing in the area to locate the missing officer.
