Sri Lanka, Sept. 20 -- The National Library and Documentation Services Board (NLDSB) has announced that its Publication Assistance Project 2026 will run from 22 September to 31 December 2025.
The initiative will support manuscripts across a wide range of genres, including academic and research works, novels, short stories, poetry, youth literature and children's books. Cash awards have been allocated as follows: Rs. 150,000 for the best academic and research works, Rs. 125,000 for novels, Rs. 100,000 for short story collections and other creative works, and Rs. 75,000 for poetry, youth and children's literature.
All selected works are expected to be launched during Literature Month 2026.
