SriLanka, Aug. 15 -- Preparations are underway for the annual festival of the historic Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil, with the 25-day festival scheduled to commence on August 17 with the ceremonial hoisting of the temple flag. The annual festival will begin on August 17 and continue for 25 days. The Manjam festival, will be held on August 26, followed by the Mango festival on September 7. The chariot festival will take place on the morning of September 9, with the Theertha ceremony scheduled for the morning of September 10, followed by the lowering of the temple flag that evening, marking the conclusion of this year's annual festival.
