Sri Lanka, May 21 -- Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Dileepa Peiris told Colombo Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Basil Rajapaksa, and Namal Rajapaksa had visited Pillaiyan at the Batticaloa Prison following the Easter Sunday terror attacks.

During the visit, they had promised to release him within a week of Gotabaya Rajapaksa becoming President, with Peiris noting that Suresh Sallay had coordinated the lawyers.
