Sri Lanka, Nov. 12 -- Deputy Defence Minister Major General (Retd) Aruna Jayasekara told Parliament yesterday (11) that a special pilot project named "Mission Reboot Sri Lanka" has been initiated by the Defence Ministry to transition retiring and retired Tri-Forces personnel into entrepreneurs and contributors to the national economy and to leverage the skills of acquired by armed forces members during their service for national economic development.
He said that no decision has been taken to remove Tri-Forces personnel recruited for professional duties under direct entry.
