Sri Lanka, Aug. 8 -- Agriculture and Livestock Deputy Minister Namal Karunaratne told Parliament yesterday that state-owned dairy company, Milco (Pvt) Ltd, which had been planned to be sold by previous governments, was saved and made profit in a very short time and distributed Rs.180 million in profit-sharing incentives to around 22,000 dairy farmers after 21 years.Dairy & Eggs

Last year, the Company achieved a historic financial turnaround under the new administration, recording its highest-ever net profit of Rs.1.49 billion by late 2025. We also disbursed a performance bonus of Rs.75,000 each to all 1,228 employees on December 31,2025.
