Sri Lanka, July 13 -- A meritorious ceremony was held recently at the Hector Kobbekaduwa Agrarian Research and Training Institute auditorium on Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo 7, to mark the 19th anniversary of the Buddhist Television Channel, the 15th anniversary of the Buddhist Radio Channel, and the birthday of Venerable Boralande Vajiragnana Thera, the Chairman of the Channel.

A workshop was conducted for the venerable Theras who conduct Dhamma sermons, during the event. Venerable Professor Devalegama Medhananda Thera and Venerable Professor Mawatagama Premananda Thera delivered special lectures. Venerable Boralande Vajiragnana Thera delivered the welcome speech.
