Sri Lanka, April 8 -- Prime Minister and Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya said the Government has taken measures to strengthen counselling services in schools.

The PM revealed in Parliament yesterday (7) that around 425 children have dropped out from attending school prematurely and six students have committed suicide due to abuse and violence in both Government and private schools from 2015 up to now in the country.
