Srilanka, March 30 -- The Government has prepared a comprehensive programme to stabilise the economy in the face of global challenges and steps have also been taken to provide services without interruption during the festive season, Labour Minister and Finance and Planning Deputy Minister Anil Jayantha Fernando said.

The Minister responding to a query said necessary plans have been prepared to ensure that the people do not face any food, fuel shortage or disruption to electricity supply during the upcoming April festive season.
