Sri Lanka, Oct. 9 -- The Maldivian government has taken measures to update its visa regulations for foreign workers entering the country for employment.

Under the new directive, the government has decided to suspend, effective September 15, the option that previously allowed individuals entering on short-term Business or Special Visas to convert their status into a Work Visa while in the country, a statement issued by the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment in a release said.Book Beach Resorts
