Sri Lanka, Nov. 3 -- A woman alleged to be the main drug trafficker operating the local drug network of 'Badowita Asanka, a powerful organised criminal and large-scale drug trafficker currently residing overseas, was arrested by the Police Special Task Force (STF) on Sunday (1) with 62 grams and 600 milligrams of heroin in her possession. Acting on intelligence received by STF officers, a special team carried out the operation in front of a house on Abeysekara Road, in Mount Lavinia within the Dehiwala Police Division, and arrested the suspect.
