Sri Lanka, March 11 -- Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Chairman D. J. Rajakaruna yesterday urged the public to use fuel economically in the wake of looming energy crisis triggered by the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. Addressing a press conference in Colombo yesterday (10), Rajakaruna emphasised that people should take every possible step to minimise fuel consumption.Sri Lanka business
He added that the current fuel crisis is not limited to Sri Lanka but is affecting countries around the world. Rajakaruna warned that if collective action is not taken to reduce fuel usage, the country could face serious risks in the near future.
