Srilanka, Feb. 5 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake speaking at the 78th National Independence Day celebrations at Independence Square in Colombo yesterday emphasised that his Government will not allow division, racism, or extremism and that national unity will be established as the foremost strength in rebuilding Sri Lanka.
The President also said he believes that the true fulfillment of Independence lies in the extent to which Sri Lanka is able to achieve economic freedom.
