Sri Lanka, Oct. 27 -- Sri Lankan athletes continued their superb performance at the South Asian Senior Athletic Championship in Ranchi, India on the final day yesterday. They grabbed the first gold medal of the day as Dasuni Kaushalya stormed to win the women's 400m hurdles, followed closely by Araliya Sathsarani who claimed silver, a proud 1-2 finish for Sri Lanka.

Dasuni Kaushalya finished first with a time of 58.66 seconds while Araliya Sathsarani finished second with 59.24 seconds.
