Sri Lanka, Sept. 22 -- Sri Lanka women's Under 19 team led by Manudi Nanayakkara notched up their second win when they beat Australia women's under 19 by 29 runs in their second T -20 game played at Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium yesterday to take a 2-0 lead in their five march series. Sri Lanka team invited to bat first scored 138 for 9 wickets and visitors chasing a target of 139 managed to get 109 for 9 wickets in 20 overs.
The opener Sanjana Kavindi who hit asuperb half century to earn player of the first game once again made 19 ball 24 with 3 fours and a six to get good start while wicket keeper Nethagi Isuranjali (21) and Rashmi Nethranjali (24 in 17 balls) made useful contributions for the Sri Lanka team.
