Sri Lanka, June 4 -- A special series of programmes jointly organised by the National Botanic Gardens Department, the Ayurveda (Pallekele) Department, the National Water Resources Board, and the Sri Lanka Joint Research and Demonstration Centre for Water Technology (JRDC) has been organised under the patronage of Environment Deputy Minister Anton Jayakody.
These events are scheduled to take place today (4) at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya, and the Peradeniya University, setting the stage for a comprehensive framework dedicated to national water security, climate resilience, ecological sustainability, and socio-economic development in Sri Lanka.
