Chasing a target of 153, Fairfirst Insurance were dismissed for 84 runs in 17.2 overs. Openers Thanuka Dabare (7) and Gaviru Senhas (5) failed to provide a solid start, while Anuk Fernando hit a brisk 20 off 17 balls with a four and a six. However, CDB's bowlers maintained control throughout as wickets fell at regular intervals.
