Sri Lanka, Oct. 27 -- Kuwait Airways' resuming its flights to Sri Lanka after a four-year hiatus, arrived at the Katunayake International Airport this morning (27).

Kuwait Airways' flights were suspended on December 31, 2021.

An A-320 Neo aircraft was deployed by Kuwait Airways for this maiden flight.

The aircraft arrived from Kuwait City International Airport at 08.40 this morning and was welcomed at the Katunayake Airport with a water salute.

The aircraft was carrying 94 passengers and 6 crew members and departed from Katunayake Airport for Kuwait City at 09.40 in the morning with 105 passengers and 6 crew members.
