Sri Lanka, Oct. 23 -- A meeting between Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya and Korea's Ambassador to Sri Lanka Lee Miyon was held at the Parliament premises on Tuesday (October 21). The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, with particular emphasis on advancing educational reforms and the digitalization of Sri Lanka's education sector.
A key proposal discussed was to develop the National College of Education in Kuliyapitiya as a model institution for vocational training, integrating vocational subjects into the national school curriculum and providing specialised teacher training in this stream.
