Sri Lanka, Aug. 7 -- A significant milestone in Sri Lanka's efforts to strengthen energy efficiency and promote energy-efficient air conditioners was marked yesterday with the Project Achievement Sharing and Handover Ceremony of the Air Conditioner Energy Efficiency Testing Laboratory Project, held at The Kingsbury Colombo.

The project, titled 'Establishment of an Air Conditioner Energy Efficiency Testing Laboratory in Sri Lanka', was implemented through cooperation between the Korea Energy Agency (KEA), Korea Research Institute on Climate Change (KRIC), Korea Testing Certification Institute (KTC) and Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority (SLSEA).
