Sri Lanka, Oct. 28 -- Anusha Lakmali alias 'Achini', a key female suspect wanted on Red notice by the INTERPOL, in connection with the shooting murder of Aruna Vidanagamage alias 'Kajja' and his two children, was arrested in Dubai and repatriated early yesterday (27) morning.

The Police Media Division stated that the 34-year-old suspect, a resident of Katuwana area in Middeniya, wanted for aiding and abetting the shooting and murder of Aruna Vidanagamage alias 'Kajja' and his two children in Hungama area of Middeniya on 08.02.2025, has been arrested upon arrival at the Katunayake Airport yesterday morning at 5:20 am, aboard SriLankan Airlines flight UL-226, by the officers of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
