Sri Lanka, Oct. 17 -- The 36th General Convocation of the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) was held at the BMICH on Tuesday (14), marking another milestone in the University's academic journey.

Defence Deputy Minister, Major General (Retd) Aruna Jayasekara, participated the final session as the Chief Guest, while Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Sampath Thuyacontha attended the ceremony as a special guest.

The guests were received by KDU's Chancellor General (Retd) Shantha Kottegoda and Vice Chancellor Rear Admiral Dammika Kumara on their arrival at the venue.
