Sri Lanka, July 21 -- The Committee on Development and Intellectual Property of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has launched a project titled "Promoting Festival Tourism Development Through Intellectual Property."

The initiative aims to build the capacity of festival organizers in beneficiary countries to utilize intellectual property (IP) rights to foster festival tourism, while respecting local traditions and cultural heritage.
