Sri Lanka, July 25 -- A discussion regarding the organizational activities and current progress of the Historic Hill Country Esala Perahera Festival - 2026 was held yesterday (24) at the Presidential Secretariat, chaired by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.

During the meeting, extensive discussions were held regarding state intervention, preliminary preparations, and organizational progress to host the Esala Perahera on a grand scale.
