Sri Lanka, Aug. 19 -- St Joseph's College Colombo, who are celebrating 70 years of rugby this season since taking to the game in 1955, showed their trademark grit and passion in the 2025 Dialog Schools Rugby League. Though they could win only one title, the Josephians bounced back strongly in the second round to finish as Plate runners-up, a reminder of their rich tradition and never-say-die spirit.
The Darley Road school had a stop-start campaign in the opening round. They were forced into a thrilling 22-all draw with Vidyartha and suffered defeats to heavyweights Royal (14-33) and Trinity (7-29).
