Srilanka, March 14 -- A Japanese delegation comprising 11 members visited the Presidential Secretariat today (14) as part of a tourism promotion visit organised by Connaissance De Ceylan, one of Sri Lanka's leading tourism companies.South Asians & Diaspora
The delegation aims to gain a deeper understanding of Sri Lanka's history, the introduction and development of Buddhism, traditional culture, Ayurveda, customs, food culture and key economic crops.
During the visit, discussions were held on strengthening tourism cooperation between Sri Lanka and Japan and exploring initiatives to further develop the sector. Members of the delegation said they would share the knowledge and insights gained during the visit with people in Japan.They also...
