Sri Lanka, June 11 -- Sri Lanka's Jaeden Sathasivam produced the country's best performance on the opening day of the Mandiri Ciputra Golfpreneur Junior World Championship 2026, finishing sixth in the Boys Development C Division after carding an impressive 11-over-par 83 in Jakarta, Indonesia yesterday.

Competing against some of Asia's leading young golfers, Jaeden held his own in a strong international field and emerged as the highest-placed Sri Lankan after the first round of the prestigious tournament.
