Srilanka, Sept. 8 -- A stock of Kush drugs worth Rs.105 million was seized at the Katunayake Airport Green Channel with nothing to declare when a foreign passenger attempted to leave via this path, was arrested by a group of airport customs officers yesterday (5) morning.
He was a 43-year-old Indian national who works as a salesperson at a shoe store in New Delhi, India.
He had purchased this consignment of Kush drugs in Bangkok, Thailand, and arrived in New Delhi, India, and from there come to the Katunayake Airport on Air India flight AI-277 at 7.45am yesterday (5).He was arrested by Customs officers while
he was carrying 10 kilograms and 750 grams of Kush wrapped in 19 packets, in his suitcase.
