Indian HC's visit to Rangiri Dambulla Viharaya strengthens Buddhist heritage ties
Sri Lanka, June 9 -- India's High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Santosh Jha visited the Rangiri Dambulla Viharaya on Thursday (4). During the visit, High Commissioner met Rangiri Dambulu Viharaya's Chief Incumbent and senior member of the Karaka Sabha of the Asgiriya Chapter Most Ven. Dr. Godagama Dharmakeerthi Sri Chandananda Mangalabhidhana Thera.
As part of India's continued support towards educational and community development initiatives in Sri Lanka, the High Commissioner handed over computers, printers, tables, chairs and other educational equipment to improve learning facilities for young Theras and students of the Sri Walagamba Pirivena.
