Sri Lanka, Sept. 27 -- India's High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Santosh Jha paid a visit to the Southern Province recently. On September 24, he inaugurated a RO Water Plant in the OPD area of the Hambantota District General Hospital. The plant, donated by India, is expected to benefit around 1,000 people daily, including patients, visitors and hospital staff. Hambantota Mayor and Deputy Mayor were present on the occasion.
On September 25, the High Commissioner visited Sri Vijayarama Purana Viharaya in Ambalangoda, Galle district, a temple that houses wooden artifacts of exceptional craftsmanship and ancient artistry.
