Sri Lanka, Aug. 3 -- India has provided more than US$ 7.5 billion in Relief and Development assistance to Sri Lanka, including over US$ 850 million in outright Grants, according to the Indian High Commission in Colombo.
Speaking at a seminar on the study of the Pali language in Colombo, Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha said the assistance has funded projects across all 25 Districts of Sri Lanka, covering sectors such as Housing, Healthcare, Education, Land and Railway Transport, Renewable Energy, and Port and Industrial Development.
