Sri Lanka, Oct. 24 -- Openers Pratika Rawal (122) and Smriti Mandhana (109) struck brilliant centuries as India finished strongly at 340 for 3 wickets in 49 overs in their vital ICC Women's Cricket World Cup match against New Zealand, played at the DY Patil Stadium grounds in Navi Mumbai yesterday.
The match was temporarily halted due to rain at 6.21 p.m. after 48 overs and resumed at 7.50 p.m., with the game reduced to 49 overs per side. Following the rain delay, New Zealand were set a revised target of 325 runs in 44 overs under the DLS method.
