Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S.Jaishankar stated that India is committed to providing further assistance in light of Sri Lanka's demanding need to determine priorities and reconstruct.Sri Lanka Developers

Accordingly, India will extend a relief package amounting to US$ 450 million to Sri Lanka.

Out of this total, US$ 100 million will be in the form of Indian grant, while the remainder will be a loan offered at a concessional interest rate.
