Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- The Government of India has donated a stock of 500 liters of Technical Grade Malathion insecticide to further strengthen the Dengue control programmes in the country. The donation was officially handed over to the Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, by the High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, Santosh Jha, at the Ministry of Health and Mass Media yesterday (04) morning.Beaches & Islands

This donation can be considered a unique opportunity to provide essential technical support to Sri Lanka's Dengue control programmes, as well as further strengthen the decades-long close and trusted cooperation between Sri Lanka and India in the field of Public Health.
