Sri Lanka, Dec. 23 -- India has committed a US$450 million reconstruction package to assist Sri Lanka in recovery and rebuilding efforts following the devastation caused by Cyclone Ditwah. The package includes US$350 million in concessional lines of credit and US$100 million in grants, and will support sectors worst affected by the cyclone, including roads, railways, bridges, housing, health and education systems, agriculture, and disaster preparedness.
