Sri Lanka, Nov. 6 -- In line with the Vision programme series jointly implemented for schoolchildren by the Presidential Secretariat, the Education Ministry and the Communication Department of Parliament, the inaugural session of the Student Parliament of Seevali Central College, Ratnapura, was held at the Old Parliament Chamber of the Presidential Secretariat on Tuesday (4).

During the programme, members of the Student Parliament were educated on topics such as future leadership, the history of Parliamentary traditions, the role of Parliament and the current functions of the President's Fund.

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake joined the students and teachers in attendance and engaged in a cordial discussion with them.
