Sri Lanka, Aug. 13 -- The Daily News unveiled Every Elephant Matters, a special supplement to honour World Elephant Day yesterday.Digital newspaper subscription

The supplement had a spectrum of articles about the paradox of the elephant; the elephant species which is peculiar to Sri Lanka only; the top three causes of the Human-Elephant Conflict and mitigating it; ethical wildlife viewing; an alternative route to avoid elephants on the Buttala-Kataragama Road; and the lobby for the Public Property Act. The articles were written by Sri Lanka's frontline ethologists, conservationists and researchers.
