Sri Lanka, Oct. 27 -- Sri Lanka's Yevan David has returned home after a remarkable EuroFormula Open 2025 season in Europe, ready to make history as the first Sri Lankan to compete in the FIA Formula 3 Championship in 2026 with AIX Racing. At just 18, he wrapped up the season with six wins, eight podiums, and the Rookie Championship title, signaling the arrival of a new FIA Formula 3 motorsport star from the island nation.
Although he narrowly missed the overall EuroFormula crown to Poland's Tymek Kucharczyk by 17 points, Yevan dominated the rookie category, finishing with 215 points-31 clear of second-placed Everett Stack of the USA.
