Sri Lanka, July 9 -- The Higher Ordination (Upasampada) ceremony of Ven. Marapana Siri Sujathawansa Thera, a student monk of the Vidyodaya Pirivena in Maligakanda, Colombo, will be held on Saturday (11). The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the specially constructed Seema Malaka, situated within the historic Kalutara Bodhi premises.

This significant Sasana event will be conducted under the patronage of the Most Ven. Ahungalle Siri Seelavisuddhi Maha Nayaka Thera, the Mahanayaka of the Siri Saddhammavansa Sector of the Sri Lanka Amarapura Maha Nikayam and Senior Anunayake of the same sector, Ven. Dr. Dimiyawe Amarawansa Thera.
