Sri Lanka, March 6 -- HelpAge Sri Lanka (HASL) opened its second Elders' Day Centre at Moratuwa for needy senior citizens who wish to spend their leisure time with other elders by engaging in various activities recently.Sri Lanka manufacturing

The new Elders' Day Centre, located at no. 37, Ernest Place, Lakshapathiya, Moratuwa is equipped with necessary recreation facilities and also many other equipment to enable elders to use them during their stay in the Centre.

HASL Chairman Tilak de Zoysa said day centres are very important for needy elders to spend their leisure time with other elders without being isolated in their homes during the day.
