Sri Lanka, June 16 -- Health authorities have placed 14 high-risk districts under intense scrutiny due to a significant surge in dengue cases nationwide.

A special discussion to look into the immediate measures to be taken to stop the spread of dengue was held at the Health and Mass Media Ministry, headed by Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa.
