Govt reviews digital TV project, maps out next steps
SriLanka, Sept. 9 -- The Government has begun a fresh review of Sri Lanka's Digital Television Project as authorities move to assess its current progress and determine the next steps for implementation.
A special review meeting was held on the 7th at the Digital Television Centre, bringing together senior officials responsible for digital economy, mass media and telecommunications. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Digital Economy Eng. Eranga Weeraratne and Deputy Minister of Mass Media Dr. Kaushalya Ariyaratne.
