Sri Lanka, Feb. 9 -- The Government Radiology Technologists Association yesterday decided to suspend their planned trade union action that was to be implemented today after the Government met the demands of the radiology technologists, the association's president Chanaka Dharmawickrama said.

He said that the trade union action was scheduled to be implemented due to the delay of the officials of the Health Ministry in implementing the written order issued by the Health Secretary to transfer the person who is performing the duties of the Deputy Director of the Maligawatta National Institute For Nephrology Dialysis and Transplantation with immediate effect as per the recommendations of the interim report of the preliminary investigation.
