Sri Lanka, Sept. 23 -- The Cabinet has approved a proposal to complete several unfinished construction projects in state universities, which had stalled due to various obstacles during their implementation stages.

The projects, aimed at developing buildings and infrastructure facilities, were initiated at the Universities of Ruhuna, Rajarata, Sabaragamuwa, Wayamba, Sri Jayewardenepura, and the Trincomalee Campus of the Eastern University of Sri Lanka. Many of these projects remain over 75% complete but were left unfinished.
