Srilanka, Oct. 11 -- The Government has failed to resolve the problems of university lecturers, teachers, education officers and parties directly or indirectly related to the education sector, who have contributed immensely to bringing the current Government into power, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa told Parliament yesterday.

The Government is delaying the measures it should have taken to resolve the professional problems in the sector.
