Sri Lanka, Aug. 23 -- The NPP Government is ensuring the supremacy of the law which will be implemented equally regardless of once stature or social rank. So, it doesn't matter whether it is IGP, MP, Minister or the former President, the law is equal to all, Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananda Wijepala told Parliament.

The Minister also said that if anyone has committed a mistake, the Government will not hesitate to bring them before the law, adding that what is happening now is that those who have committed such mistakes are being brought before law regardless of their ranks. Investigations into all serious incidents, such as the Easter Sunday attacks, are progressing.
