Srilanka, Aug. 10 -- The Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) has decided to temporarily suspend the island-wide strike scheduled to begin tomorrow morning, following positive and constructive responses from Health Minister during recent discussions.
The GMOA Executive Council stated that it will closely monitor the transfer process of doctors and the progress in implementing the agreements reached. Based on these developments, the union will decide on further actions.
