Sri Lanka, June 22 -- Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) Managing Director Mayura Neththikumara states that no decision has been taken so far to remove the QR code currently used for fuel distribution.

He further pointed out that this decision was taken because fuel prices in the world market are still fluctuating.

Meanwhile, it is reported that a slight increase in crude oil prices was observed in the world market yesterday (21) as well.

According to the latest data, the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil was recorded at US$ 80.57, while the price of a barrel of WTI crude oil was marked at US$ 76.54.
